Traffic stop in Frenchtown Township leads to capture of fugitive

FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP — A Monroe County sheriff’s deputy executed a targeted traffic quit early right now that led to the capture of a fugitive who escaped from Ohio authorities and reportedly stole a auto in Bedford Township.

At roughly 3:38 a.m., Deputy Bilal Bazzi was conducting targeted visitors enforcement in the area of N. Dixie Highway and I-75 in Frenchtown Township. While touring together N. Dixie, Bazzi done a visitors end on a U-Haul rental automobile, which was occupied by the escaped fugitive determined as Christopher Michael Eldredge.
