Frenship ISD is happy to announce Lela Vela, Frenship ISD Director of Finance, has been chosen as a 2022 Rise Award recipient by the Texas Association of College Small business Officials (TASBO). Vela is one particular of only seven community education directors throughout the Point out of Texas to receive the award this year.
Vela and the other recipients of the Rise Award have been selected based mostly on their management characteristics, achievements, and their drive to keep on escalating their vocation. The award also recognizes the recipients as foreseeable future leaders who are on the rise in the college small business local community and profession.
Vela has been with the Frenship family members for 10 several years, serving in many roles in the Frenship ISD Enterprise Business office like Accountant, Coordinator of Accounting, and now Director of Finance. Not only is Vela an energetic member of TASBO, earning their best certification of Registered Texas Faculty Business enterprise
Administrator (RTSBA), but she also participates in many neighborhood and Frenship committees and serves as a mentor to youthful business enterprise experts and students.
