Assume traffic delays in St. Johns County this week. Here is a checklist of Florida Department of Transportation highway initiatives scheduled by way of June 17.
Mobility concerns
Orange Avenue at Condition Road A1A South: Daytime road closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday when crews substitute the drainage pipe underneath Orange Avenue just east of State Highway A1A. Visitors will detour to Palmetto Avenue and Osceola Avenue.
Condition Street A1A at the Matanzas Inlet: Daytime lane closure with flaggers from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for program bridge inspection.
State Road A1A at Marsh Landing Parkway: Nighttime lane closure from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Thursday for street light perform.
Condition Road 206 from I-95 to the Crescent Beach Bridge: Nighttime lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday as a result of Thursday from the Crescent Seaside Bridge to I-95 for resurfacing. Daytime shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays from the Crescent Seashore Bridge to I-95 for drainage and signage do the job.
State Highway 207 at Brinkoff Highway: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays for transform lane and control building.
U.S. 1 from King Avenue to State Street 16: Nighttime lane closures from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sunday by Thursday for concrete pavement replacement.
U.S. 1 from Condition Highway 207 to Lewis Speedway: Website traffic is shifted to the east facet of U.S. 1. A momentary median closure is in place for northbound U.S. 1 traffic at Spencer Road as a result of late 2022.
